Registration: OCLC Distinguished Seminar Series, May 15, 2019

OCLC welcomes staff and the library community to join us for the Distinguished Seminar Series featuring Sandy Payette, interim Associate University Librarian at Cornell University. In the presentation, “Why So Few? The Underrepresentation of Women in Technology and Software Development,” Sandy will reflect on the key question that led her to pursue a PhD after having been a female leader in technology since the 1980s: "Where are the women and why so few?" She will also discuss prospects for change agents to move toward gender parity in the design and development of the socio-technical systems we build.

Wednesday, May 15, 2019, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm ET; check-in begins at 10:30 am
Kilgour Auditorium, OCLC global headquarters, Dublin, Ohio
